Plastic molding provides a water-tight, fly tight means of attaching an awning to a tonneau cover, trailer, or boat top. The plastic molding remains in place all year and will not rust or corrode.
The awning material is sewn to the flat edge of the welting, and the beaded edge of the welting slips into the channel of the molding.
